About the Program
During his life, H.P. Shastri taught hundreds of students. To honor his history of teaching, H.P. Shastri Charitable Foundation started the H.P. Shastri Student Recognition Program in 2014.
This program recognizes selected students in the 10th and 12th grade from 2 local schools in Ghaziabad, India where H.P. Shastri used to teach. (S.S.D and K.V.V. Intercollege).
Merit awards are for students who have demonstrated excellent academic achievement based on their grade point averages and have been recommended by their faculty.
The foundation also per their discretion provides financial aid awards to selected students in a small amount, based again on recommendations and consultation from school faculty.
